About the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF)

The Nigeria Federal Government (FG), through the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development (FMYSD), has annonced the commence a fresh round of disbursements of the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) loan to shortlisted beneficiaries across the country.

This  was made known in a  message sent to some of the targeted beneficiaries, through the NPF Microfinance.

However, a lot of NYIF loan shortlisted applicants are expecting to benefit from the loan, have confirmed receipt of emails and text messages for the approval processes of the loan scheme and instructions on how to access the fund.

The NYIF fund is set to be disbursed to successfully shortlisted beneficiaries ranges from N250,000 to N3million, depending on the scale of the business and its evaluation. 

Tracing the background, it was seen by Opportunity Archive that over 6,000 youths benefitted from the first batch of the disbursements in 2020.
